Thank you to all who came, listened online, and enjoyed the recording.
In discovering more of God’s universally loving nature, we naturally give more of ourselves. This unexpected way forward lifts everyone.
Our speaker, Melanie Ann Wahlberg, CS, was a math professor before devoting her life to the practice of Christian Science healing.
Jesus said, "seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." (Luke 12:29-32)
Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer of Christian Science, wrote: "Man walks in the direction towards which he looks, and where his treasure is, there will his heart be also. If our hopes and affections are spiritual, they come from above, not from beneath, and they bear as of old the fruits of the Spirit." (Science and Health 451:16-18)
This lecture was co-sponsored by the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Sunnyvale and the Christian Science Society in Fremont, CA.
